About Dan Rebb

I am a nursing student who has a strong passion for helping and caring for people. I enjoy making people smile and laugh and making an impact on their life. During my experience as a caregiver, I have impacted the lives of the clients I have worked with and have also impacted the lives of their families by providing them the comfort to care for their loved ones. I have played a role in their lives by building trust and a strong bond with the families, trusting me to care for their loved ones. I am a compassionate caregiver as I have witnessed firsthand the battles that the clients I have with go through whether it is the disease or illness they are fighting or suffering from or even just the effects of aging. I have also volunteered at Hale Makua Health Services (nursing home) during my high school years. This volunteer experience ignited my passion for nursing through watching the nurses work with the residents there. This is where I also did my clinical for my nurse aide program and that exposure has helped me hone the necessary skills and knowledge to become a competent and compassionate caregiver. The feedback I receive from clients and their families is what motivates me to do better at my job and makes my job fulfilling.
